Here i want to share some of feelings or thoughts about this film festival
Firstly, the subtitle of the saangtya is ‘chitra bashe kavya’ this caption really suits very well for that title, and about the quality and content of the workshop the sponsors they carefully selected the movies which really related to what thoughts and what turmoils which occurs in every ones day to day life like in Rajath Kapoor’s Ankhoon dekhi, and other movies which screened in this camp are Nikhil Manju’s Hajj, and Polish movie Ida, and Anil ghandhi’s The ship of Theseus were really good collection except that movie i dont want to name that.
Secondly, I want to ask some questions here 1. On what basis or criteria the sponsors of saangtya are going to select movies??? 2. If at all the selected movies really gives any motive or any inspiration to the participiants
And some of my personal feelings about this saangtya
Actually i am really grateful to saangatya for giving me opportunity to participiate in that film festival, actually after coming home finishing that camp still millions of thoughts are circling in my head till today i didnt have such type of feeling, since my childwood i am hardcore movie watcher irrespective of art or commercial or masala movies, whenever i used to name any movies name or any song, my parents and my friends is to say how many movies u r seeing ??? you will become mad, and u wont do good in studies by watching movies in this way, at that time i used feel very bad, but i didnt leave my habit of watching movies, some time i used watch movies whole day about four or five movies in theature or in television, but the way i used watch movie is only for affection about a hero, or heroine etc,,, but has the i grew older i started to see selected movies based on Story, director and photography etc but some of the movies i saw only for the music forget what may be the plot or story, as the time passed on i became choosy in watching movies, after reading film reviews in news paper and TV then only i used to watch that movie.
Saangatya really helped me lot that only in two days in a short time how my perception about watching movies.
Regarding facilities provided at the camp they are really wonderful, even in my 15 years of professional service i have attended many no of conferences, seminars workshops symposiums sponsored by Government Multinational companies etc but this type simple and tasty food was superbly and simply the best.
Finally my suggestions or request for next film festival is that plz add one of artistic movies which are released or pictured about 2 -3 decades back, so that the students, or participiatant will know what is the scenario in olden days and how the technology the way of story telling, narration as improved as the techonology advances
Any way these are my comments or reqestions for saangatya if any thing wrong in that plz forgive me and make me eligable for all ur future film festivals without fail

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ಒಂದು ಶಿಬಿರದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಕಾರ, ಕೊಡುಗೆಯೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟಿದೆ. ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಮಾನದಂಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಹಾಗೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮ ಶಿಬಿರವೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಓದಿಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುವ ಅರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮುಖ್ಯವೋ, ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲ, ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಉತ್ತಮ, ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ, ಮಧ್ಯಮ, ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ದರ್ಜೆಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ‘ಇದರಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಅಥವಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭಾವನೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಬಹುದು’ ಎಂಬುದು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರವಿಷ್ಟೇ. ನಾವು ಸಿನಿಮಾವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಓದುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಯೋಚಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಇದೊಂದು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಾಗಿಯಷ್ಟೇ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಒಂದು ಮಾದ್ಯಮವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾಂಗತ್ಯದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

I missed first day but fortunate enough to be a part of screening and discussion on day2.
wonderful efforts by all members of Sangatya Team It was aprecious time to spend with having seen a transformed event after a long time Infact after attending so many International film festivals I felt that what we actually can put out is in such group events like Sangatya team event and also can express our views on the various films being telecasted.
Film is a mixture of emotions,problems,happiness,quarrels,caste, creed,money,independence, nature, photography and has so many people’s efforts to bring out so many aspects in an span of 2-3hours which is really a great challenge than climbing a Mount everest.Only a person who has worked with the films as a back stage of in the technical team will know its pain and hard work that needs to be put up to get out with a best film. even though the films have all the things always we have something missing for one of best teams as well still the work has to be appreciated all the time irrespective of what language it is of and what budget they have made a film.
Fortunately I was part of few films in Kannada Industry and has worked for the art team and have seen that pain.
In the Film ship of thesus that was screened on day 2 I should really be greatful for selecting this film one of best message a film can give was the “Point of view of any person may change but when it comes to what we call as relationship can definately be topping the list”,
And it was a good discussion as wel thanks to Mr.Sudharshan ,Akshata and Mrs.Rajalaksmi and whole of participant friends for a fruitful talk on this film.
I wish to be a part of event henceforth all the time and wish to see you all again in next event.
Special thanks to my sister Deepa Hiregutti and Sudhir Kumar Murolli for showcasing importance of this festival.
